I have to admit, this browser is pretty responsive. While I do not have access to a copy of Firefox to give both clear benchmarks as to their speed, I will say that Galeon is much faster than KDE's Konqueror. Keep in mind that this is a rather souped up machine with a 2GHz CPU and two gigs of RAM. Therefore, my saying this about Konqueror is not related to using a low-end test machine.
