Computer Boot Sequence

Gustav Duarte has written three articles about the computer initialization sequence of events through the boot up process.

The first article covers the chipsets and the memory map of an Intel system. The second entry discusses the BIOS initialization and the third article gets us to the kernel boot process itself.
