[ELX is now shipping Power Desktop 2.0 and Business Desktop 2.0. -Ed 6/22/2003]

ELX Linux has been released. It has a much more feature rich and most polished version and using 2.4.18 kernel. They are newly included ediatable lauchpad which is named as "My favorite". In this you can add your favorite applications and you also can select the icon for that application. Whenever you clicked on that icon that perticular application will be executed.
ELX is going to be the first 'licensed Linux' version, which will raise many eyebrows -- but it's the only way to ensure a corporate-ready Linux product. We don't want to raise alarm bells like Mandrake did recently. We are here to stay. Please read the ELX license agreement on our website. ELX will always be free for home users and educational institutions. It only requires licensing for business use.
