Book Review: Samba Book Roundup

The author takes a look at five books on Samba.
The challenge was to integrate Windows 2000 and Linux, and Samba was the tool of choice. I headed to the bookstore in search of a Samba reference book to enhance my Samba knowledge and help with my specific project needs. I found a total of five books and secluded myself to evaluate them.

The five titles ranged from small books (For Dummies) to entries so large they require a fork truck to hoist (Unleashed). I found it odd, however, that all of the books were printed in 2000 and none have been updated since then.
