A look at Xandros from down under, complete with prices in $NZ.
The standard desktop pack comes with two CDs and a manual. This approach is to be commended because it does not overwhelm a newcomer, something Linux can do due to the huge amount of software that is available. Too many manuals tend to frighten newcomers who, as a rule, would prefer to be able to intuitively figure out things for themselves.
The installation is about the easiest I have encountered in nearly five years of fiddling with Linux distributions. There are options for installing just Xandros or Xandros plus Windows. There is also a custom option for the more nerdy.
