SuSE Linux AG makes the "Live Eval" version of SuSE Linux 8.2 available for free download. With this version, you can take a glance at the look and feel of SuSE Linux on your machine before you decide to deploy SuSE Linux on your PC.
The best thing about it: you do not even need to install the "Live Eval" version on the hard disk. Simply insert the CD and off you go! No matter which operating system you use, the comprehensive SuSE Linux system will boot from the CD. On request, configuration data for the SuSE system can be stored. However, there is no need to worry: your current system will not be modified.
