Book Review: JavaScript by Example

Chances are there will be times when you need Javascript on your web pages.
When HTML and CSS aren't enough, JavaScript is a great solution for a more active page. It's lightweight, and the coding can be kept to a minimum. Prentice Hall recently released a book on JavaScript called JavaScripts by Example, written by Ellie Quigley. Quigley has written three other by Example books on other topics (Unix shells, Linux shells, and Perl) and has significant experience as an instructor of these topics. If you've never used JavaScript or you have only dabbled in it a couple of times, this is a good book to help get you started. It's also a handy reference if you're in a bind and need a quick solution to a Web design problem.
