This one might not be quite ready for prime time...
ELX BizDesk 4.0 is the latest incarnation of a product that was first unleashed in the middle of 2002 by Hyderabad-based Everyone's Linux Pvt Ltd, who claim to be the first Indian Linux distribution company to have entered the software market. Loosely based on Red Hat Linux 9, BizDesk 4.0 is designed primarily for corporate users who are looking for a drop-in replacement for Microsoft Windows and Office. Although ELX products receive the occasional mention in the wider press, a comprehensive review has not been undertaken since at least 2002. So what is BizDesk like in the year 2004, two years on? ELX kindly sent us a copy so we could find out.
