Heck, I'll use anything to avoid that other word processor.
...KWord is actually quite nice as a basic/midgrade word processor. In the features category, KWord is leaps and bounds ahead of AbiWord in terms of the sheer number available. KWord has all the usual suspects from bold, underscore, and italic, to paragraph alignment. It also has nearly everything from numeric lists, to headers, to super- and subscripts. There are also tables, frames, and paragraph borders. If there is one department where KWord has an abundance, it's in the features.
