Here's a downloadable .iso image of Ubuntu's new Live Linux CD. There is a direct download link as well as a bittorrent link available.
This CD will allow you to try out Ubuntu before installing it, without repartitioning or overwriting any existing software or data. Just place it in the drive and reboot your computer. [Alternatively, you can download the latest release directly from Ubuntu. -Ed.]
