An interesting, if difficult, read...
If I run several thousand traceroutes to several hundred addresses from about a hundred addresses around the globe, I can get a really good picture of exchanges, demarcation points, and core routers in a few days.

All the information is out there. Gorman has done us a remarkable service — he's done the work and warned us just where and how our infrastructure is at risk. Over the decades, the various reticula that make up our infrastructure have become increasingly nodal. Gorman shows us how diversity can be an element of security.
