How to Install Ruby, RubyonRails, and RubyGems on Linux

This short howto covers gives you the bare bones for installing Ruby, Ruby on Rails, and RubyGems on Ubuntu Linux. It should also work on Debian, and will probably work on other Debian-based Linux distributions. Minor adjustments will have to be made for other Distros.
