This review is of the release candidate for the version just released...
The improved installation method for Dapper was very impressive. The LiveCD method was remarkable for its robustness and its quick boot time to the desktop. Another nice feature of the Live CD is that you can save your settings to an external device, like a USB stick, if you specify the kernel parameter “persistent” when you first boot the Live CD/Installer. Once the Live CD has booted into gnome, just click the install icon on the desktop and your on your way to having Ubuntu Dapper installed on your computer.
